Than Battle Rap.

iEvolve was started 11 years ago out of a desire to build bigger opportunities in hip-hop and battle rap culture. While actively making music, performing, and battling, Jay realized he had access to venues and strong relationships with artists and battle rappers. It only made sense to create a platform that could bring those worlds together — and iEvolve launched as a live showcase platform and YouTube channel.

Jay has been involved in battle rap for 15 years. As a Latino battle rapper, he's had to fight double the battles — proving he's just as skilled as anyone while representing his identity and his community. That experience shaped him lyrically, mentally, and in business, and built the empathy that runs through everything iEvolve touches.

iEvolve is unique because it's built from a firsthand artist perspective. Jay started as an artist and battle rapper before stepping into the business side, giving him angles on the culture most promoters simply don't have.

That perspective produced events like Lotería — bringing battle rappers in from four different countries — and most recently Regulators, one of the biggest battle rap events in Southern California in years. Regulators introduced new concepts like blending twerk battles with rap battles, and pulled in one of the largest female audiences ever seen at a battle rap event in a traditionally male-dominated space.

The core philosophy is evolution — helping artists elevate to the next level. Many artists return to work with the brand again and again because of its commitment to growth, opportunity, and community.

The long-term vision is to keep building platforms that give voices to artists from all backgrounds. iEvolve strongly supports and uplifts the Black and Brown communities, and the ultimate mission is a space where anyone with something meaningful to say can be heard — through live events, digital media, and cultural experiences that connect artists and audiences with people who understand their realities.
